Updated Website

I just updated my website with a new look and a couple new sections. I’ve added a new painting (hippo surrounded by bees) I just did for Visual AIDS Postcards from the Edge benefit. Plus added a “drawings” page containing many drawings I did of co-workers at their desks during my time in cubicle land. Also added links to my pages on facebook, twitter, etc, and integrated my Wordpress blog, which will be a source of news and a peek at sketches and other bits of development of my work. Please have a look: davidotto.com

About

portrait

David Otto is a Brooklyn, NY-based freelance artist specializing in illustration and web design/development. His paintings are narrative, often surreal and expressive illustrations, many of which feature animals engaged in activities that comment subjectively about human issues.

David honed his ability in web design by developing his own site first, then by creating sites for fellow artists who also needed online catalogs of their work. He hand-codes his designs according to current XHTML & CSS standards, and offers integration and customization of Javascript, and popular blogging and networking tools.
